It was a much awaited trip. Ever since i started this hoysala heritage visit, i was fascinated reading about Somanathapura temple. Mysore-Hassan belt is known for many famous hoysala temples. I intended to cover at least some of them in this trip.
This time i was accompanied by one of my best friend Nayan. It was a mid week holiday and hence we decided to make the most out of it. I started at around 5:00 A. M from my house, and then picked Nayan from J. P Nagar Central. Then we took Uttarahalli road which connects to Mysore road near Kengeri. Despite of starting very early, there was lot of traffic. We stopped for Breakfast at Kamat Upachar near Maddur. After a half an hour break we headed to Budanur, our first destination.
